Ol Pejeta Conservancy Full Day Guided Tour
Rhino conservation & East Africa’s only chimpanzee sanctuary.
About Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Discover one of Kenya’s most inspiring conservation success stories with a day tour to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Nestled between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta offers an exceptional blend of classic safari encounters and meaningful conservation experiences-making this tour both adventurous and educational.
The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, run with Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute, is Kenya’s only refuge for rescued chimps, many from the illegal pet trade.
Tour Highlights
- Kenya’s largest population of black rhinos
- Home of the last remaining northern white rhinos
- Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary
- Big Five sightings including lions, elephants, and buffalo
- Stunning views of Mount Kenya
Did you know?
Ol Pejeta holds more black rhinos than any other East African reserve and protects both southern white rhinos and the functionally extinct northern white subspecies. The last male northern white rhino, “Sudan,” died here in 2018; cutting-edge assisted-reproduction research now focuses on the two remaining females, Najin and Fatu.
